West End chic has hit The Street in Ashstead as The Brewery Inn reopened its doors on Thursday, November 24, following a £100,000 renovation, which created five new jobs, and guaranteed to wow the discerning local clientele.

The new look oozes timeless elegance, with opulent chandeliers, furnishings and décor providing guests with the perfect venue for socialising, dining out and more. And with a brand new breakfast menu, General Manager Beverley Stedman believes The Brewery Inn is set to become the ideal meeting place for the yummy mummies, local businesses and passers-by.

“We’re very excited about what has happened to The Brewery Inn. It’s a complete transformation! It’s bright, stylish yet classic, with a comfortable interior and warm welcome. The outside too becomes a showcase for what’s on offer inside, with a redecorated exterior, complete with fresh flowers in our beautiful new window boxes,” says Beverley.

“The Brewery Inn has always provided customers with the warmest of welcomes, but now with our gorgeous new look, it is somewhere you’d be proud to come with your children, your lover, on a night out with your girlfriends, and even your mum!”

VIP guests were invited to the opening night between 5-7pm on November 24th and received the red carpet treatment too, along with a complimentary glass of fizz (or a pint of craft or cask beer) on arrival and canapés. “We are literally rolling out the red carpet to welcome our first guests and to announce our reopening,” says Beverley, who offered people the chance to win VIP tickets to the event on the pub’s Facebook page.

Doors opened to everyone from 7pm, and entertainment included live music with the Rat Pack Duo, and even Morris Dancers in the garden.

“There’ll be one or two famous faces with us on the evening too,” Beverley adds, “but you’ll have to wait until the night to find out who!”

There’s also a new range of craft and cask beers to whet the appetites of ale and lager aficionados, and when it comes to appetites, there’s a delicious menu offering an excellent range of dishes: from melted French Camembert; 25 day matured steaks; burritos; pastas, salads and risottos; tantalising open and slow cooked pies; Duck Confit; Cumberland Sausages andamp; Mash.

Sunday roasts are definitely a main event with eight cuts of meat from roast lamb shank to beef long-bone rib and free tops ups on gravy, Yorkshire puds and roasties.

There is something going on for everyone at The Brewery Inn: for the over 65s there’s the Tuesday club with special offers and meal deals, quiz nights on Mondays, live music once a month, and Fizz Fridays, with amazing deals on Prosecco and Mumm Champagne. So come along and sample this little bit of West End elegance.
