The famous Britannia pub at Monument, one of London’s hidden treasures, a short hop from the river Thames in the heart of the City, showcased her new found glory when she re-launched after a £250,000 investment, on 22nd March 2016.

The venture by the UK’s largest privately held managed pub operator, Stonegate Pub Company, came with a staggering, fifteen fresh new jobs, and a much longed for premium pub food and drink experience.

Tourists, residents and workers in the area will appreciate the artisan, craft offer that brings together the best in London’s on trend products including six craft beers, local ales, premium lagers, suave cocktails and the finest wines and spirits. Freshly stone-baked pizzas, bursting with flavour are promised with canapés of delicious grills, classics and sharers available to feast on any day of the week.

The re-launch impressed customers with a stunning new interior design. Reclaimed wood fills the walls for a beautiful warm beach effect. Leather booths make the pub welcoming and accessible for large groups- the perfect place for a meet-up with friends!

Manager Lydia Pethick said: “The renovations are spectacular. We have massively broadened our appeal both in terms of our look and our offer from day to night, including our 2am license, exclusive to the area.”
