Tickets to the Heineken Champions League final next weekend are like gold dust, but one lucky winner still has the chance of a lifetime to grab what might be the last genuine pair of tickets by winning a competition running across eight pubs and bars in Cardiff.

If heading a ball is your forte, then tickets to the biggest game since the World Cup might just be yours.

The competition will run in first round heats at the Pen and Wig at 5pm and the Mackintosh at 7.30pm on Thursday 1stJune. The other six heats will run at Slug and Lettuce 12pm, Three Rivers 2pm, Owain Glyndwr 4pm, Missoula 6pm, and Walkabout 8pm, and Popworld at 10pm on Friday 2ndJune.

Budding participants need to grab a partner, head (pun intended) to one of the heats and head the ball back to one another. The pair with the longest rally will be that sites winner and will win a £20 bar tab.

Winner’s from the initial heats will be invited back to the grand final at the Owain Glyndwr on Saturday 3rd at 3pm with pairs put to the test again before the lucky winners get their hands on the tickets to the prestigious match between Real Madrid and Juventus on Saturday at 19:45.

Participants must be over 18 and purchase a pint of Heineken to qualify..

So grab a friend, achieve your goal, and get your game face on for the competition of a lifetime to celebrate the first and perhaps last time Cardiff get to host the Champion League cup final.
