PRESS RELEASE: Local pub turns into an outdoor oasis

Summer is coming early to Cheam! The Harrow Inn on High Street has a fresh coat of paint, and a unique, feature beer garden all completed in time for Easter.

Never one to miss the opportunity to party, The Harrow kicks off celebrations on Thursday 24th March with live music starting at 8pm and free drink tasters available for sampling.

The newly improved beer garden, courtesy of owner’s Stonegate Pub Company, is completely secluded with beach cabana’s creating a warm and inviting taste of paradise without needing to fly to a beach. If that’s not enough to entice you, what’s a beer garden without a 50inch flat screen to broadcast BT and Sky sports!

The pub has been enhanced, the quality and service is top notch with offers including Monday Poker night, Tuesdays Quiz night and two meals for £9.99 all week – with choices such as Hand-Battered Fish, Homemade British Steak and Ale Pie and Mexican-Style Stuffed Pasta Boats, to name a few.

Looking for a lighter dish? Pick something from the delicious low calorie menu, such as a spicy Mexican Burrito for just 482 calories, Rump Steak and Mushroom Salad for a mere 352 calories or a Chicken Skewer Salad for under 400 calories.

General Manager, Darren Kennedy added, “We are so excited to get this transformation to our garden. It’s feels like you have been taken away to your own little oasis. The perfect place to have a bite to eat, relax and let’s hope, sunbathe!”

Make sure to drop into the Harrow Inn to see the transformation for yourself. The pub will be open in time for Easter Sunday, and as an advocate for the Sunday roast, unlike other high street pubs, this pub won’t be saying good-bye to one of Britain’s most traditional meals!
