Sutton Coldfield’s most diverse pub, bar, and nightclub Molloy’s, showcased its £250,000 refurbishment last Friday 17th February.

Local Mayor Charlotte Hodivala attended the official reopening and launched the pub by pulling the first craft pint!

The changes have already made an impact on the street, with its new stylish front, whilst screens show off the lighter and brighter downstairs bar, the perfect environment for dining and socialising until lights go down for Molloys’ legendary party nights.

The pub, at the heart of the community, has kept locals favourites – pool, darts, live bands, late bar and nightclub; whilst adding to its appeal with traditional pub elements – quiz, karaoke, craft and cask beer.

Manager of five years Paul Letson said: “We’ve got the best of both worlds. Our loyal customers who call themselves ‘Molloyal’s’ have been with us forty years and now their children visit us, parents knowing they’re in a safe environment at our big party nights.

“Equally we’ve got all the other reasons to visit with a reduced breakfast menu from £3.49; two meals for £7.99 all day every day; two new craft beers and four cask ales on tap; games and entertainment. We’ve got such a good team here and people just enjoy coming back and back. Now we’ve given them even more incentive!”
