New Year, New Look for the Lost Hour, Greenwich

Locals to Greenwich are in for a treat this January as popular bar, the Lost Hour, is set to reopen on 30th January 2017 with a brand new proposition – promising a bigger and better offering than ever before! Located on Greenwich High Road, the reopening follows a £300,000 investment into the overhaul of the site, which has also created ten new jobs for the local area.

The venue has been transformed to make way for a clean and refreshed space, offering customers an engaging setting to relax, dine and be entertained. The stress-free atmosphere during the daytime is perfect for customers to watch sports or enjoy a great value meal, before evolving into a stylish hangout in the evenings and at the weekend.

With the opening of the site comes the introduction of free super-fast Wi-Fi, a printing station and charging points for mobile phones, tablets and laptops so that guests can make the most of the refined space when working away from home, university or the office. Pool tables and a selection of retro games will be available to help customers wind down after a busy day.

A fresh food and drink menu has also been introduced, serving a range of full-flavour dishes including burgers, ribs and sharing trays alongside a ‘Greenhouse’ section dedicated to tasty vegetarian and vegan meals. Customers can wash their food down with one of the bar’s draught craft beers and ciders from around the globe, which will be on rotation allowing guests to sample great beers from all corners of the world as well as regional favourites.

Customers with a cause to celebrate will be able to raise a glass whatever day of the week as the Lost Hour boasts an array of offers and events, including Double Points, Retro Games and Free Pool on Mondays, giving guests an excuse to make the most of their MORE loyalty cards. Clash of the Cans will see all canned cocktails, canned craft beer and canned cider available for £3 from 5pm on Tuesdays and customers can purchase wings for 25p from 5pm onwards on Wing Wednesdays. Speed Quizzing is scheduled every Thursday, with £3 Craft and Cocktails seeing in the weekend on Fridays.

Dan Banks, General Manager at The Lost Hour said, “We’re really looking forward to re-opening the doors of our bar to our loyal customers and hearing what they think of our brand new look and proposition. Despite the popularity of our previous offering, it was time to update the concept and make our venue more of a welcoming and engaging space.

“Our new proposition offers something brand new to our customers, with our sports offering supported by an exciting new menu and selection of offers and events scheduled throughout the week. So whether you’re looking for somewhere to enjoy a pint during a game, or simply enjoy a nice meal with family and friends, we look forward to welcoming everyone through our doors soon!”
