With Christmas just weeks away, the team at the North End Tavern in Worcester Park are making sure that their Christmas celebrations embrace all of the community.

On Wednesday 19th December, the North End Tavern will be hosting a festive bingo lunch for the elderly members of the community.

Starting at 1pm, customers will get a Christmas lunch with all the trimmings, including the obligatory crackers and Christmas party hats. Lunch costs either £4.99 or £5.99 with a drink. Mince pies, a hot drink and a few games of bingo where customers can win a range of prizes, are small Christmas gifts from the pub.

Kim Williams, manager of the North End Tavern said: “Christmas is such a special time, so we want to make sure that everyone gets to celebrate it with someone. Pubs are the focal point of the community, so this is a great opportunity to bring everyone together and have some fun.

“We are planning to cater for around 50 people and the lunch is already starting to book up with many of our regulars signing up to join us. If there are people in the community who would like to join us or, think there is someone they know who would benefit from coming along to meet new people, please do get in touch. Advanced booking is required along with a small deposit of £2.50.

To book, simply pop into the pub or call us on (T) 0208 335 3746.”
