The VIP opening last Friday 7th April, treated guests free fizz (beating £14 a bottle Fizz Friday for one day only); craft tasters; live music; a meeting with the suppliers of Thatcher’s Hayes and Gold ciders; and a boastful preview of the swanky venue which was officially launched by Lord Mayor Cllr Jeff Lovell who had nothing but praise for the investment.
“We got to finally test out the new DJ booth and managed full capacity by eleven thirty, so its safe to say the new look has had a great reception! I am really proud , it's a new era for the pub and with summer just round the corner it looks to be a good one" said General Manager Neil Shorter.
