As all eyes turn to London as it celebrates love, equality and diversity in all shapes and sizes, a collection of some of the city’s oldest and well-respected gay bars across the capital are coming together to create the ultimate Pride Pub Crawl on Saturday 8th July.

All part of Stonegate Pub Company – the UK’s largest gay venue operator– 9 Bars from Oxford street, Soho, Clapham and The Strand are all taking part with a range of special events, live entertainment and exclusive performances. Sites including The Two Brewers in Clapham, The Admiral Duncan in Soho and Halfway 2 Heaven at The Strand – will all be hosting a series of events and special offers that are too good to be missed!

What’s more, each site will be giving away carnival style memorabilia throughout the Pride weekend including a staggering 150,000 Pride balloons and 100,000 festival cups!

To ensure our revelers are well-watered, customers can indulge in a zesty blend of Smirnoff Vodka, lemonade and lemon juice across all nine sites taking part for just £6.50. Called the Skyball, the cocktail is served in a limited edition red cup donned with every colour of the rainbow, giving everyone another way to show their pride.

A relaxed hangout by day, Rupert Street is the perfect spot for the after-work crowd looking meet likeminded people and unwind. Open until 3am with a host of DJ’s all night and an express Peroni and Kronenbourg bar all day!

Compton’s, Soho

One of oldest gay bars in London, Comptons is affectionately nicknamed “The Old Dame” of Old Compton Street. The relaxed, ‘pubby’ drinking spot attracts beer-drinking bears and live sports fans, but its friendly ambience means anyone is welcome. Open until 2am, Orange Nation will be on the decks from 2pm – 10pm for their pre-party. The theme is once upon a time!

The Admiral Duncan, Soho

World famous Admiral Duncan is a great place to grab a drink and catch up with friends. One of the oldest gay pubs in London, and named after an admiral who defeated the Dutch fleet at the Battle of Camperdown in 1797. Open until 1AM, with a variety of cabaret acts on all day, Kara Van Park will be hosting the party all night!

The Kings Arms, Soho

Attracting a predominantly ‘bearish’ crowd, The Kings Arms shows live sport and hosts karaoke nights and live DJ sets all weekend. Perfect for those partial to a beer, real ale or two – The emphasis at this gay bear bar in London is very much on beer, with a good choice of real ales on tap.

Duke of Wellington, Soho

This two-storey Soho venue has the feel of a traditional British pub, complete with a friendly atmosphere, a busy downstairs bar and a relaxed seating area upstairs. Known as “The Welly,” the site is a good spot for watching live sport or enjoying a relaxing drink with friends.

One of London’s gems of the gay scene, enjoy this cosy indie bar with its colourful vibrant personality. Set aside in a little alleyway near Charing Cross, Retro Bar’s music is eclectic and the decor features photos of many iconic rock and pop figures. Open until 11pm. Myra Dubois is performing at 3:30pm followed by DJ’s on the decks all night.

Two Brewers, Clapham

Clapham’s classic cabaret bar will be treating guests to a host of acts and live music performances throughout Pride. Join in with the karaoke or salsa fun, test your knowledge at quiz nights, or be amazed by some of the top acts on London’s LGBT+ cabaret circuit. What’s more, on Pride night, the bar will be playing your favourite hits until 4am, with From the Sundae’s performing at midnight.
