Another Bank Holiday signals another great weekend planned by the team at Slug and Lettuce in Bournemouth.

On Friday 24th May, to coincide with launch of their garden-themed cocktail menu which showcases twelve new, refreshing cocktails, the team will be looking ruddy-cheeked as they dress up as garden gnomes, fishing rods and all, and they are encouraging customers to do the same.

Phil Churchill, events manager from the Slug and Lettuce said: “Beware of the Gnomes begins at 6pm and for every person who dresses up a gnome, we’ll give them a little treat to reward them for getting into the spirit of things. You gnome it makes sense to attend!

“Our new cocktail menu is really delicious and, to ensure that people can try a few of them out with their friends, we’re going to be offering two cocktails for the price of one on the night. There’s a real mix of cocktails including the Milk and Honey which combines Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey and milk and cream served with a honey drizzle – a summer stunner indeed. We’ve also introduced a ‘skinny’ cocktail, the Bikini Martini – a blend of Abslout Citron vodka, Bacardi, lime, soda and a dash of agave syrup.

“In addition to Beware of the Gnomes, we’re also going to be hosting our now legendary ‘Sounds of 54’ event on Sunday 26th May which starts at 6pm. We’ll also be offering two-for-one cocktails that evening too as well as playing some of the greatest disco and club classic hits. It’s a great night and I’d recommend it to those who love that music genre.”
