The Roebuck in Utley near Keighley has revealed a stunning impression of the transformation customers can expect to see when the pub re-launches following a whopping £220,000 makeover on 4th March.
Excitement started building when builders, decorators and deliveries moved in straight after Valentine’s Day, making it obvious that it’s more than just a lick of paint taking place.
Not giving everything away, manager Caroline Ingram is encouraging customers to ‘save the date’ to be first to experience the renovation which is also creating four new jobs. A spectacular VIP red carpet event is set for 5-7pm when Keighley Cougars RLFC Centre, Danny Lawton will officially launch the new look. Opening to the public at 7pm, customers will be invited to celebrate with live local singing sensation Dean Lunn, enjoy table magic and samples of delight from the bar and kitchen.
The classic Yorkshire pub is being fully modernised throughout with a contemporary design, layered finishes and embellished furnishings – ‘although’, say owners Stonegate Pub Company, will still be ‘fully recognisable’ for all it’s original charm.
The new Roebuck will bring together the best in beers and premium drinks offering two new craft beers, top notch wines and spirits, alongside a list of cocktails, expertly made by the extensively trained bar team.
Flavours, indulgence, quality and passion for food are the inspiration behind the very different food menu of seasonal dishes and classic pub favourites with a modern twist. All made with fresh ingredients, the team promise an agenda of food feasts from Sausage festival throughout March; regular ‘Spice Nights;’ Steak & Wine and seasonal Mother’s Day fare.
Sky and BT Sports will still be a huge feature of the pub, retaining the special relationship with the local rugby club.
