The Phantom Hosts Music Festival in Honour of Rainbows Children’s Hospice

The Phantom on Leicester Road in Loughborough, which is owned and operated by the award-winning Stonegate Pub Company, will be hosting a music festival in honour of Rainbows Children’s Hospice on Sunday 25th August.

Deputy Manager, Jamie Duchesne said: “We organise a music festival ever year and we are proud to support Rainbows Children’s Hospice, who help children diagnosed with life-limiting conditions. Their work is beyond commendable and they have been our nominated charity for the past two years. Last year’s event raised almost £300 for the charity and we are hoping that this year’s event will attract even more support.”

Charity boxes will be placed around the venue and there will be a raffle, with prizes donated from local businesses. Guests also have the chance to win a £20 bar tab at the Phantom.

The team at the pub have organised for ten bands to perform, having worked with music students Chris Quinn and Pete Coombes from the Loughborough College, in an effort to support the community and new emerging talents. The headlining acts are Static Soul and Master Charger.

The event will be held in the large beer garden towards the rear of the pub, with the first band taking the stage at 2pm. The team will also be hosting a BBQ and showing live football matches throughout the day. A DJ will be spinning the decks inside when the festival finishes at 10pm.
