Bring on the Bank Holiday and start the summer off in style at Stonegate pubs in Wolverhampton this weekend, as all five pubs are set to host a jam-packed weekend of entertainment for their customers to enjoy.

The Goose on Lichfield Street is the place to be for Wolves fans at the end of a successful season, as the pub celebrates Wolverhampton Wanderers’ promotion to the Premier League. The long weekend kicks off with a Wolves Football interactive quiz on Thursday 3rd starting at 7pm, followed by a Marston’s ‘Meet The Brewer’ event from 6pm on Friday.

On Saturday, the pub will be showing Haye versus Bellew Fight, offering the ultimate boxing experience, with tables available to book. On Sunday there’s a Mario Kart competition from 7pm with prizes for the top of the leaderboard. Finally, on Monday 7 May the pub will welcome Wolves fans lining the street to cheer their team on as they make their way from the city centre to West Park showing off their Championship Trophy in an open-top bus tour.

The bank holiday celebrations also start on Thursday for the team at the George Wallis on Victoria Street, with a Games Night, followed by Friday’s Indie Revival Session hosted by DJ Neil Jackson. On Saturday, the pub will be showing the much anticipated Haye versus Bellew Fight Night with table service provided in a VIP room for customers watching the match. On Sunday there will be a Wolves Pub Quiz and on Monday it’s Film Club.

Meanwhile, The Lancaster on Lichfield Road is kicking the bank holiday weekend off with a DJ on Friday night. On Saturday, there will be a toy duck race across the car park to raise money for charity, followed by the Haye versus Bellew Fight Night.

Things might wind down for some on Sunday, but the team at the The Lancaster are taking full advantage of the Bank Holiday with a Ska Band entertaining customers all evening.

At the Red Lion on Amos Lane there will be live entertainment from Labour of Love, the UK’s No.1 UB40 Tribute act, on Friday 4 May from 9pm – 1am. The Haye versus Bellew fight will be Saturday’s highlight. The boxing coverage will be on from 6:30pm, followed by DJ Mark Cooper who will get your Saturday party started, playing from 8pm – 1am.

On Sunday 6th May the Red Lion will be hosting ‘Breakfast with Iggle Piggle’, the children’s favourite character from In the Night Garden, from 10am-12pm. There will also be a Bouncy castle in the garden to tire the little ones out! Plus from 9pm on Sunday there will be Live Entertainment with Ska Waddy! A night of SKA & 2Tone not to be missed, open until 12am.

Last but not least, The Hogshead on Stafford Street will host Bellini Friday, where customers can mix their own delicious summer cocktail for an extra £3. On Saturday, the pub will be showing the Haye versus Bellew Fight Night and, in honour of the occasion, they will be offering two Heineken beers and two burgers for just £10, as well as a ‘Hit the Bull’ darts challenge that gives customers the chance to win a Beer Tower.
