Chairman of Stonegate Pub Company, Ian Payne, received his MBE award from His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales, who thanked him for keeping British pubs open. Ian thanked Prince Charles for his support for ‘Pub is the Hub’ and the work he does with its Chief Executive, John Longden OBE. Ian said: “It was an amazing experience, long live the Great British Pub.”
