Known for championing all of our guilty pleasures, Popworld has forged a legendary status in Derby for providing memorable nights out filled with fun, laughter and the best pop tunes in town. Now, the popular bar and nightclub, located on Friar Gate, is encouraging customers to let go of another kind of guiltandhellip; by confessing their sins for all to see!
By installing a ‘confession wall’ this week, the bar and nightclub is inviting those holding on to a secret from the last year, or those who might fall at the first hurdle and break their New Years’ resolution during the first couple of weeks in January to relinquish their guilt and see in the New Year with a clear conscience. But, those scared to stop biting their tongues needn’t worry – the confessions will only be able to seen when UV lighting is pointed in the confession wall’s direction.
Using special UV pens to conceal the identity of the beholder, customers will have the opportunity to wipe their slate clean and add their confession to the wall between the 19th December 2016 – 16th January 2017.
A grand reveal of the anonymous revelations will then take place on the 28th January 2017, where customers can breathe a sigh of relief with one of the bar’s signature partinis or cocktails from the ‘Candy Pop’ and ‘Tin Pop’ collections. As soon as the secrets are out in the open there will be an added cause for celebration, and customers will be free to party completely care-free.
