As Bracknell awaits completion on the re-generation of the town centre, owners of the area’s landmark pub are gearing up to reopen their own £250,000 restoration complete with a name change to the Market Inn revealed earlier this year.
Bidding ‘out with the old and in with the new’ the pub, formerly the Goose on Station Road is introducing brand new furniture, uninterrupted sports viewing, cosy décor and a re-vamped beer garden – a haven for Bracknell’s modern pub goers.
The VIP launch on the 16thof June will showcase the new look with menu tasters against a backdrop of eclectic music from resident DJ Ant who revs up the volume from 8pm. Royal Ascot revellers are in for a treat as the pub opens just in time for the races, beginning the following week.
“We are trailblazing investment into the area and will be the first to open - brand spanking new with a new lease of life! We look forward to the reception especially with Ascot the following week”, said general manager Richard Heap.
Real Ale remains a focal point of the pub, expanding to five cask ale pumps with local and national brews including Doombar, Tribute, Hog’sback TEA, Pedigree and Banks Best bitter alongside craft alternatives such as Guinness Hophouse 13 and Brewdog Punk IPA.
