Moo Moo, on Warrior Square in Southend on Sea, is hosting a Pink Party to raise money for the breast cancer awareness charity,Coppafeel!, on Saturday 16th November. The much-loved party venue will be kitted out in all things pink for the event, as they fundraise for the charity that encourages both men and women to regularly check their breasts for symptoms of the disease.

Entrance to the club is free, but customers who want to beat the crowds can pay £1 to get on Moo Moo’s guest list, all of which will be donated straight to Coppafeel!. The club has also organised a range of party games and a dance and selfie competition, to help bolster funds for the charity.

The bar’s regular DJs, DJ Jammy and DJ Wade Kadir, will be treating customers to their selection of  iconic girl band tunes and dance and urban anthems, in the Fever Party Room and the Boutique respectively and, for a small donation, customers can get involved in the selection process, picking their own party tunes to dance the night away to.

Colin Goodwin, General Manager of Moo Moo in Southend and organiser of the event, said: “Think as pink as you can, and then double it, that’s how we’re approaching the decorating process for our Pink Party! We’ve got pink drapes, pink balloons, glitter stars, you name it – the bar is going to look great. Not to mention the team and I will all be kitted out in our pinkest finery; in fact, we strongly encourage all of our customers to do the same.

“The first step to beating cancer is catching it early, and with charities like Coppafeel! raising awareness about what regular action we need to be taking, we stand a much better a chance of being able to do that. I hope our event can raise a bit of cash, raise a lot of awareness and raise the roof at Moo Moo, as we all have a great time, for a great cause!”
