Stonegate Pub Company has confirmed that it will be broadcasting LaLigaTV at its sport venues from this weekend, as the UK first pub group to collaborate on in-venue promotions with LaLiga. A new channel offering “All of LaLiga, All in one place”, LaLigaTV will be available at selectedWe Love Sport pubs for fans to enjoy the best of Spanish football starting today [Friday 17 January].
Via Stonegate’s We Love Sport app, LaLiga fans will be able to search and find their nearest pub to watch live Spanish football on LaLigaTV.
Officially launched in the UK this week, LaLigaTV is a 24/7 English-language channel featuring all available live matches from top-flight LaLiga Santander as well as analysis, debate, interviews, features and much more. Introduced to the UK through LaLiga’s broadcast partnership with Premier Sports, the channel is available to both commercial and residential SKY subscribers (Channel 435) as well as Virgin TV customers (Channel 554)
Stonegate is also hosting a number of events to mark the arrival of LaLigaTV to the UK. This new series, called LaLiga x We Love Sport, kicked off in December with a successful viewing party for El Clásico between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid, held at Sports Bar & Grill, Marylebone. The event was hosted in partnership with LaLiga, Premier Sports and Budweiser, with a special appearance by LaLigaTV pundit and former international footballer Gus Poyet.
