Following an investment of £400,000, Walkabout will open its doors for the first time to the people of Colchester this 18th July.
Located in the heart of the city centre, the venue will see a complete overhaul since the acquisition of Missoula. The transformation will take just four weeks to complete, having closed its doors on the 19th June and will result in the introduction of brand-new VIP areas, pre-bookable booths and private areas for parties, meals, club nights and live music.
Walkabout Colchester will boast all the fantastic features of the new concept including the 10-screen reef bar capturing the wonder and beauty of Australia from the Great Barrier Reef to awesome Sydney cityscapes. This newly refurbished site highlights a fantastic new and exciting design, including extensive pre-bookable spaces ensuring that Walkabout will be the go-to party destination of Colchester. What’s more, all the things everyone loves about Walkabout will be on offer, including live Sky Sports and BT Sport.
Walkabout’s food menu includes a dedicated Parmi and BBQ section, sharing dishes and party platters, all of which can be enjoyed alongside a wide selection of craft beers, wines, and mouth-watering jam jar cocktails – all inspired by the spirit of modern-day Australia.
Already well known for its legendary party nights and live sports, the new venue has been designed to mean that, combined with the delicious food offering, Walkabout is also now the perfect place for an impromptu coffee, relaxing lunch or chilled out afternoon.
